Privacy policy

What we hold about you

• Your account: first and last name, email address, ZIP code, whether you are a parent or guardian, a coach or a league admin, phone number if you gave one, and a password we store only as a hash.
• Your teams and league: which team numbers you coach or follow, and which league, once an admin approves a claim.
• Your Google Calendar connection, if you connect one: a token that lets Ready Coach Go! create calendars in your Google account and put events on them. It is stored encrypted. It cannot see any calendar Ready Coach Go! did not make.
• Your purchases, if you buy something: a Stripe customer id and what you bought. Stripe holds your card; we never see it.
• The newsletter: the date you agreed to it, which is the day you created the account, or the date you switched it off.

What we use it for

• Running the service: signing you in, showing your league's schedule, making and updating your calendars, taking a payment you asked for.
• The newsletter: telling you about new features and apps. It comes with an account, the sign-up form says so, every such email has an unsubscribe link, and your account page switches it off.
• Nothing else.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information today. If that ever changes, we will tell you first, and you will be able to say no before anything happens.
• Children. A youth league is about kids. Accounts are for adults - parents and guardians, coaches and league admins - and sign-up asks you to say you are 18 or older. We do not create accounts for children, and nothing that names a child or says where a child will be is ever shared outside the team, sold, or used for marketing.
• Coach addresses the league published. Contact details that came from the league's own scheduler, rather than from you signing up, are never added to any list.

Google Calendar, specifically

When you press Connect Google Calendar, Google asks you to allow one permission: make secondary calendars, and see, create, change and delete events on them. Ready Coach Go! uses it to create a calendar per team in your account and keep it in step with the league's schedule. It does not read, change or delete anything on calendars it did not create. You can remove the permission at any time from your Google account's third-party access page, or press Disconnect on the calendar page, which also forgets the token on our side.

Who else touches it

Service providers that process data on our behalf, under their own terms: Stripe (payments), Google (calendar tokens), Plunk (email), Cloudflare (traffic), and the hosting provider where the database lives. None of them may use your information for their own purposes.

Your rights

You can see what we hold about you on your account page. You can change it there. You can ask us to delete your account and everything with it, and we will, by writing to the address on the platform’s settings page. If you are in California, you have the rights the CCPA gives you, including the right to opt out of any sale - of which, again, there is none today.
